Approximately 60 customers who had their water shut off after a pipe ruptured had their service restored Saturday afternoon.
A broken water main in the Beverly Grove area sent water gushing through the streets early Saturday morning. The 6-inch cast iron pipe broke in the 8200 block of Clinton Street at about 2:30 a.m., officials said.
Crews from The Department of Water and Power turned off the water supply to the area at about 3 a.m. Service was restored to the area at about 1:45 p.m.
