A woman was shot as she rode her bicycle in South Los Angeles overnight Tuesday.
She was hit on the arm in area of 43rd Street and Central Avenue just after midnight, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman said.
Despite her wound she managed to cycle back to her home on the 4200 block of Hooper Avenue, where she was treated then taken to the hospital in a stable condition.
There is no description of the suspect so far, and it is unknown what led up to the shooting.
