A city worker fell was fatally injured Friday in a fall from a tow truck in North Hollywood, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
The accidental fall happened about 3:25 p.m. in the 5900 block of Tujunga Avenue, LAFD spokesman Nicholas Prange said.
"Paramedics were dispatched to the scene and they performed CPR on the injured man, but they couldn't revive him," Prange said.
The victim's name was withheld pending notification of kin. The incident was being investigated by Los Angeles police, Prange said.
