A Chihuahua chased off two armed robbers who held up a smoke shop in Altadena.
The robbery took place July 7 at Ace Smoke Shop on North Lake Avenue. Although the robbers did get away with some cash, Deputies say they probably would have gotten away with a lot more if not for an angry Chihuahua that tugged at one robber's pants and chased them both as they ran out the door.
Deputies think the dog's loud barking, as much as its bite, scared the robbers away. Now authorities are hopinng the surveillance video will land the crooks in jail.
