The East Los Angeles Women's Center (ELAWC) strives to help women find esperanza or hope in their lives, and empowers them to attain a quality life that is safe and healthy for themselves and their children. Using a holistic and family-centered approach, ELAWC delivers bilingual, culturally relevant services.
Our work incorporates individuals, groups, communities, and partnerships to end violence against women and girls and HIV. ELAWC builds healthier communities by working closely with our many community partners in health care, law enforcement, social services, public institutions, and others. To volunteer, click here.
