    McKinley Children’s Center

McKinley Children’s Center is a leader in compassionately transforming the lives of youth and families through innovative education, counseling and social services. McKinley Children’s Center provides immediate and long-term attention to children who have been abused and neglected. A private, non-profit organization with a residential treatment center, non-public school, treatment foster homes, and a rich complement of mental health services, the Center helps society’s most emotionally injured youth heal from traumatic experiences. On a yearly average, the agency provides services to 1,200 children ranging from infancy to 22 years of age throughout Southern California.

McKinley Children’s Center is a haven for at-risk youth. Our mentoring program seeks to help these children thrive in their lives by matching them with a non-parental adult that they can look up to while helping them navigate life’s obstacles. Mentoring helps children deal with day to day challenges and can help them succeed in school, athletics, daily life, relationships, and career.  To volunteer, click here
