It's been 16 years since Los Angeles had a pro football team. Now there's a big drive to bring back the NFL. Talk about pent up demand.
"The first year's going to be great just from the fact that there's nostalgia there," said Scott Goldberg of Prestige Entertainment West.
But many see ticket prices as the largest hurdle for most people who want to go to see the action in person.
"You are looking at a minimum of $60, $70 a person," said L.A. Daily News Columnist Jill Painter. "For a family of four, that's $280 and then you haven't even talked about parking, sodas, hot dogs and all that stuff. So it's going to be really expensive."
Also, if the team is good, people who want to see a game may have to go to the secondary market. A recent survey showed that tickets for really good teams were selling for an average of close to $300. That's the average.
"I would expect that lower level yard line seats are going to be expensive," said Goldberg. "And I would think we'd be somewhere in the top four or five markets in the NFL, similar to Dallas, similar to the New York Giants."
So bigger families on a tight budget may want to see an exhibition game, instead of a regular season contest.

"I would say, if they wanted to go to an NFL game, go to the preseason games," said Painter. "A lot of season ticket holders don't like to go to those games and try and get rid of those tickets and might sell them for $25.
