New Melanoma Drug

New treatment for cancer patients that are unsuccessful with traditional treatment.

Doctors at UCLA' Jonsson ComPrehensive Cancer Center have discovered a new drug in the fight against melanoma.

The study found some patients do not respond to traditional treatments.

But in a clinical trial, the new drug, RG 7204, that comes in a pill form got positive results.

Doctors say this is not a cure, but it is a way to treat the skin cancer that is seeing some success.

Instead of ten percent success in treatment, they are now seeing up to eighty percent success.
