NBCUniversal Honors Vets By Connecting Them to Media-, Entertainment-Industry Decision Makers

An effort to educate veteran owned-businesses on how to do business with NBCUniversal is coming to Los Angeles on Tuesday Nov. 13.

The Veteran’s Supplier Week will kick off in LA a three-city, three-state initiative meant to give veterans exclusive access to key decision makers and executives at NBCUniversal and its various entities.

"NBCUniversal is working with several national and regional veterans support organizations to identify and recruit amazing veteran owned businesses. These heroes have shown leadership in their service to our country, and continue to show that leadership through job creation. We hope to partner with them and support them in this effort," said Daphne Harvey, SVP Sourcing at NBCUniversal.

The November events which are also taking place in conjunction with the Veteran’s Day Holiday will feature panel discussions that will also include success stories from existing veteran owned businesses and a networking/business matchmaking component.
