Thousands Walk to Create a World Free of Multiple Sclerosis

Walk MS to Benefit the Southern California and Nevada Chapter of the National MS Society

More than 8,000 walkers are expected to participate in Walk MS at the Pasadena Rose Bowl on Sunday, April 7. NBC4’s general assignment reporter, Lolita Lopez, will emcee the opening ceremony at 9:30 a.m., with the walk officially starting at 10 a.m.

The Multiple Sclerosis Society’s goal is to raise $2.75 million at its 13 Southern California & Nevada Walk sites this spring. Funds raised will support direct services for the more than 19,000 Southern and Central Californians and Nevadans with MS and their families, as well as cutting-edge research worldwide to find better treatments and ultimately a cure for this chronic, unpredictable disease.
