Pretend City Children’s Museum is “the world in a nut-shell.” It is designed for children to learn how the real world works. The museum is a child-size interconnected city built with rich educational intention, where children can assume various real-world roles and build better brains. Through interactive exhibits and activities, children learn foundational math, reading and science skills while fostering curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork.
Volunteers are a vital piece to the functioning of Pretend City. Volunteers work on the museum floor by engaging and interacting with guests, both adults and children, to enhance their experience by providing a meaningful and educational visit. Pretend City seeks volunteers who have an interest in early childhood development and is passionate, creative, and outgoing. To volunteer, click here.
