Porn Actress, Producer Accused of Sexually Abusing Girl Under 10 Years Old

The two had set up their bedroom in a Rancho Cucamonga home as a set for pornographic films

A porn actress and her producer were arrested on suspicion of molesting a child under 10 years old, among other charges, the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department said Tuesday.

Melinda Smith, who is also known as Mercedes Carrera, 35, along with Jason Whitney, 43, who also goes by Jay Allan, were arrested Friday in the 10800 block of Church Street.

A girl under 10 years old came forward to police, and after an extensive interview, police learned the actress and producer had allegedly sexually abused her multiple times.

Over the course of four months, police allege the pair inappropriately touched, digitally penetrated and performed oral sex on the girl.

While Smith was identified as a porn actress who appeared in videos online, Whitney was identified as a producer who has also worked on various awards shows in the adult film industry, in addition to pornographic shows online. Police learned the two had set up their bedroom in the Rancho Cucamonga home as a set for pornographic films.

After serving a search warrant and discovering a "large amount" of evidence in the home, police interviewed Smith and Whitney and ultimately arrested them.

Police also discovered methamphetamine and two loaded handguns in the house, leading to the two being arrested on charges of possessing controlled substances while being armed with a handgun, in addition to the sexual abuse charges.
