The Feminist Street Initiative aims to rename streets across the country after historic women. The effort follows the fifth anniversary of the nationwide Women’s March, and comes days before the start of Women’s History Month in March.

Referred to by many as the ‘Godmother of LA’, Biddy Mason’s descendants want to make sure she is being honored properly.
