The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden asked the public to help name the new hippo and received thousands of submissions from around the world.

The Cincinnati zoo revealed on NBC’s “TODAY” show that the full-term hippopotamus born last week is a male calf and is asking the public to submit their name ideas for consideration.
