The number of COVID hospitalizations has increased throughout LA County as cases continue to rise.

The number of COVID-positive patients at LA County hospitals showed a miniscule uptick the first Saturday in April, increasing by 3 people to 290.

The number of COVID-positive patients in Los Angeles County hospitals has fallen again, as has the number of those patients in intensive care and the number of daily deaths.

While the number of hospitalized COVID patients fell Sunday by 125, Los Angeles County will need to report four more consecutive days of sub-2,500 hospitalizations in order for the LA County Department of Public Health to declare a “post-surge” phase.
