"Hakuna mata" may mean "no worries for the rest of your days," which is a very a nice thing to wish for, pine over, and think about, truly.
But there's a way to extend that good feeling, and help another being in the worry-free department, and it goes like this: You can open your home to an animal in need.
And several of those in-need animals will find their way into loving Southern California homes from July 19 through 21, 2019.
Indeed, that happens to be the opening weekend of the live-action "The Lion King," and to celebrate? Best Friends Animal Society is offering free cat and kitten adoptions at its Mission Hills center.
Finding your own lil' Lion King, or Lion Queen, is the goal of all this goodness.
Important things to know about this noble-hearted happening? Number one: The promotion will spotlight select cats and kittens at NKLA, so do ask when you arrive at the center. (All cats and kittens are free at the Best Friends center.)
