A Lexus SUV goes the wrong way -- and on two wheels -- near La Cienega and Stocker.

Police apprehended a driver Wednesday after a pursuit that ended in Baldwin Hills.

The subject was taken into custody near Stocker Street and La Cienega Boulevard after an aimless foot chase.

After exiting the southbound 405 Freeway at Olympic Boulevard, the driver crashed into another vehicle. The motorist continued northbound on Roberston Boulevard from the 10 freeway.

The Lexus went into Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area and sped down several dirt roads before getting onto Stocker Street. The driver tried to go the wrong way on La Cienega and crashed into a curb, where he got out of the vehicle and ran.

Police said the vehicle was stolen.
