The first West Los Angeles Community Carnival kicked off Friday night with excitement and anticipation by those who organized the unique event.
The Carnival is located on Pico Boulevard between La Cienega Blvd and Sherbourne Avenue.
It is running on Friday, November 12, between 5-10 pm, and November 13,14, Saturday and Sunday between 12-10 pm.
It features several rides and attractions including a 60 foot ferris wheel for those to see the Los Angeles skyline.
The carnival will raise money for the West Los Angeles LAPD Youth Program.
It operates four youth programs, including the cadet program.
