Santacon: Be Loud, Obnoxious and Jolly

...and don't mess with the cops.

Time to dust off that Santa costume and get into the rabblerousing spirit. Tickets for this year's Santacon are now on sale, according to the group's Twitter feed.

Ever year, hundreds of Santas wander the streets of LA causing mischief, debauchery, tomfoolery and other synonyms for naughtiness.

This year -- despite the recession -- organizers are planning to live up to expectations:

"...Santa knows what you want and boy is Santa going to deliver. Santa challenges you to bring on the cacophony, cause it's going to be that kind of year. Ho Ho Ho," according to the Santacon website.

The rules are pretty simple -- don't get make a mess, don't hurt anyone, each Santa is responsible for his or her own behavior, and the most obvious favorite rule, "don't f*** with the cops and store security."

All Santas must be equipped with an all-day Metro pass. The cost of tickets varies, but try not to get cheap -- every Santa can afford at least $5.

Santacon is scheduled for Dec. 12. The start location will be announced to ticket holders.
