Boogers and Farts and Burps, Oh My

Discovery Science Center hosts impolite science exhibit

The grosser side of science is coming to Southern California.

On Saturday, touring exhibit "Grossology: The (Impolite) Science of the Human Body" will open at the Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana.

The exhibit celebrates the gross, nasty, oozy side of science. Visitors can explore "the Burp Machine", pinball game "Gas Attack" and "the Tour du Nose" (When was the last time you walked through a gigantic nose?).

"Based on the best-selling book 'Grossology,' this exhibition uses sophisticated animatronics and imaginative exhibits to tell you the good, the bad and the downright ugly about runny noses, body odor and much more," according to Discovery Science Center.

You had us at "downright ugly."

The event runs until Sept 12 and tickets run $12.95 for adults and $9.95 for children.
