We're fans of Adult Swim's Tim Heidecker & Eric Wareheim. Surely you've seen "Tom Goes to the Mayor" or their show "Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!" or any of their appearances here and there and hither and yon. Uproarious is a good word. Unsettling is another. Let's see if there's another "u" word... "Unusual" works. "Uppity" not so much. "Ufological"? Maybe. Okay.
Eric Wareheim, the taller, glasses-wearing half of the duo, is stopping by Silent Movie Theatre on Monday, July 20th, to screen some things. The magical evening is called "Surprises!" and that exclamation point should say so, so much. You won't *just* be surprised. You may be taken to a completely different level of comedy, of wonder, and full-on surprise-osity. We should also make mention that Doug Lussenhop is co-heading the night, because not to make mention would not be nice.
Short films and free beer are on the bill. Random odd silences make occur. Awkward stares. Someone, in the lobby, may sob, and then laugh, and then sob again. And brains will grow with comic goodness. Silent Movie Theatre, Monday, July 20th, 8PM
