“Greek” Gives Back

The car washes, the fundraisers, the papering a campus about a cause everyone should know about. Voluntarism starts at a young age, and DoSomething.org is all about helping young people find ways to help out.

Now the volunteer-minded group has partnered with ABC Family to do something about Do Something on shows like "Greek." Three real charities are getting mentions on the fictional series, with the aim to help spread the word among the show's backpack-and-blue-book-toting viewers.

The cast of "Greek" is not just acting out the message on the show, however; they're headed for the Target Terrace at L.A. Live on Thursday, September 17th to talk Do Something. There's a screening of an upcoming episode, and a Q&A with the actors. And if you can't attend, you can of course still do something at any time.

Side note: If you're still in a Greek mood following the 17th, there's an unrelated event going on at Rush Street in Culver City on September 18th and 19th. A toga party, drink specials, Jello shots, DJing, and more is on the sked.
