“Legacy of Hope” Luncheon to Help Veterans

A program designed to help disabled veterans will bring together celebrities, politicians and community activists this weekend.

The "Legacy of Hope" luncheon is an event organized by the California Paralyzed Veterans Association.

This weekend's luncheon hopes to raise awareness and show appreciation to veterans who have sacrificed to keep America safe.

The mission of the CPVA is to maximize the quality of life for people with spinal cord injuries. Thanks to the CPVA, veterans can take part in a number of sports including archery, golf and swimming.

This weekend's event will begin with a cocktail reception at noon, followed by lunch at 1:00p.m.

Tickets are thirty five dollars for members and guests, and 60 dollars for the general public. For more information call (562) 826-5713.
