Original Freddy Haunts Weekend of Horrors

Robert Englund and other stars gather for horror con.

It's night like October owns the patent on scary movies and scary events and scary characters.

In fact, if you like horror, you probably are a bit fatigued by the close of the fall. So. Much. Madness. You'd appreciate having some of your scares in the bird-chirpy spring.

Which is exactly what you're going to get over the weekend of Friday, May 21 through Sunday, May 23. Creation Entertainment's Weekend of Horrors creeps into the LAX Marriott, bringing with it a creepy cavalcade of above-the-title actors.

Like Robert Englund, the original Freddy Krueger. Director Dario Argento. Heather Langenkamp, also of the original "A Nightmare on Elm Street." Several of those amazing Lovecraftian players, like Jeffrey Combs and Barbara Crampton.

Plus a zombie walk. Plus screenings. Plus fashion shows.

We'll call this the perfect moment for a mayhem-y convention. We have the May Gray to lend fog and atmosphere, but the horror calendar is much lighter than October.

It's a bummer to double-book a zombie walk with a seance or costume ball.
