Ready, Get Set, Get Muddy

Muddy Buddy is Coming to LA on Sunday Nov. 7

Need something to do this Sunday? Feel like running 5.7 miles, completing an obstacle course, and navigating the occasional mud pit? Well do we have the thing for you.

The Columbia Muddy Buddy race will be in Los Angeles on Sunday, Nov 7. Teams of two racers will compete in a 5.7-mile off-road course that includes five different obstacles.

At the start of the race, one team member will run and one will ride the bike. At the 1st obstacle, the rider will drop the bike, complete the obstacle, and begin running. The runner will arrive, complete the obstacle, find their bike and begin riding. Teams will continue leapfrogging each other through the entire course.

After completing the race and all the obstacles, both team members must crawl through a mud pit and cross the finish line together.

Muddy Buddy travels all over the country challenging racers everywhere to complete their grueling course and still retain enough strength to get through a mud pit. The competition has visited cities such as Las Vegas, Orlando, Austin, Atlanta, New York, Chicago, and more.

There is also a Mini Muddy Buddy, which provides kids a chance to get dirty as well. They will have their own short course to navigate, and then will get to play in the mud pit with their friends.

The Los Angeles Muddy Buddy will be held at Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park in San Dimas, CA.  The race starts at 7:15 A.M. and the activities for children begin at 9:45 A.M.
