So Here's to You, Last Remaining Seats

Tickets go on sale on Wednesday, April 14.

When Last Remaining Seats tickets went on members-only sale on March 31, we talked about it. Because, movies. Historic theaters. A rare chance to see an important film played large. Talk talk talk, we did.

Well, we didn't so much "talk" as break out all "The Graduate" references and quotes we had on hand. And now that we are back to tell non-members that tickets go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, April 14 at 10 a.m., we're dipping for more Benjamin Braddock-based witticisms. Dipping like a bored, sun-tanned boy into a suburban pool.

Because "The Graduate" is one of the half-dozen movies that will be shown in the historic theaters of downtown this summer. And because "The Graduate" is so quotable.

Wait. Buck Henry to Dustin Hoffman in the hotel lobby: "Are you here for the affair, sir?"

That'll do. Because Last Remaining Seats always proves to be quite the affair, what with those spectacular settings and famous movies and sold-out nights and stand-by lines.

The cinema series opens on May 26 at the Los Angeles Theatre with "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying." Advance general public tickets are $20 each.
