Sunday at the Skirball: The Tonys and Lemony Snicket

One great location, two fun events

The Skirball Cultural Center is a most excellent place to be on any weekend, but they've got the two things we'd love to be doing on Sunday, June 13.

At 2 p.m. Daniel Handler -- perhaps you know him as one Lemony Snicket -- will be in conversation with Lisa Brown, an artist and author (and Mr. Handler's wife). Kids are welcome to attend, but they must attend with an adult. The focus of the chat is the duo's "The Latke Who Couldn't Stop Screaming." General is $12, a child's admission is $6

At 3:30 p.m. the Actors Fund hosts the 2010 Tony Awards Los Angeles party. There will be stars -- Tommy Tune hosts -- there will be auctions to bid on, there will be raffles, there will be eats, there will be live-from-NYC Tony watching. Tickets start at $225
