Sunset Junction, with its live-and-let-live vibe and easy-going neighborhoodiness, is the always huge, always local-filled, always music-filled street fair that will celebrate on the streets of Silver Lake this Saturday, Aug. 21 and Sunday, Aug. 22.
The 2010 fair features include a "locals' only" stage; a laser light show during the Ghostland Observatory set; non-stop music from all corners of the city; and all sorts of boothery involving all sorts of bites from various Silver Lakeian purveyors. (The last two have been touchstones of the fair every year, we'll add.)
Check out the Silver Lake Chorus above as they performed on Today in LA. It is just a taste of the local chorus group and a taste of what the "locals' only" stage has to offer.
Tickets are $15 each day and the Los Angeles Times has the schedule of all the fun.
