Tonight: An Evening with Stewart Copeland

The Police drummer will chat, do a reading, show clips.

AN EVENING WITH STEWART COPELAND: Did Mr. Copeland sense all the percussive vibes going down around LA this month? The very talented Police drummer will be visiting the Grammy Museum tonight to chat, to read from his autobiography, and to show "rare clips of Police footage." Police fans, are you stoked? We're going to listen to "Synchronicity II" as soon as we stop typing this. 8 p.m.

LA AUTO SHOW: This is still vrooming forward, and it is still keeping those late-ish hours during the week (save Thanksgiving Day, when closing's a bit earlier). Tonight's closing time is 10 p.m. Perfect for heading down to after work? Or if your relatives are already arriving, and they like cars, well. Instant activity. At the Los Angeles Convention Center through Sunday, Nov. 28

TWO CHILDHOOD FAVES: A holiday week makes one nostalgic, and not just for the savoring of familiar treats. If we could watch a film a day from our youths, we would, all week. But oh, look, we can see two tonight at the New Beverly: "Something Wicked This Way Comes" and "Escape to Witch Mountain." Popcorn before the turkey, definitely. "Wicked" starts at 7:30 p.m.
