What You're Doing Today and Tonight: Valentine's Day

...Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds is at a special Valentine's Day concert, presented by KOST 103.5. We're fans of "Love Songs on the KOST" so you know this one will have plenty of cuddle-up ballads. Club Nokia, February 14, 7PM doors.

...Make for the water with your honey on a jaunt out onto the Pacific. There are shimmery lights in the water, there's possible sea life sightings, there are those pull-closer foggy breezes. February 14, Hornblower Cruises.

...The Lovemaster Craig Shoemaker talks about affairs of the heart and what the ladies like, but in a funny way, at Brea Improv. February 14 (of course).

..."Here I am, the one that you loooove" -- oh Air Supply. You've perfected the slow-dance song, and now you're bringing your smooth sounds to the OC. We adore that Australian, hearts-in-the-eyes duo. OC Performing Arts Center, February 14.

...It's a "drive-in" in a downtown parking lot, it's cool, and it's showing one of the great love stories of cinema, "Harold and Maude" (must be "H and M" week; we just saw it at the New Bev). February 14, Angel City Drive-In.

...The Folk Tree in Pasadena is one of the most beautiful stores in town. That's why we've got to get over to the "Hearts & Flowers" art show before it closes next week. Expect: hearts, flowers, other symbols d'amour.... Folk Tree, through February 22.

...And, for the biggest, vaudevilliest, gussy-up-and-be-divine party, make for Lucent L'amour. February 14, downtown LA.
