    Queen Skittles
A princess, a Christmas tree, a series of amazing photos by a queenly figure. Head to By:Co-astal on April 3 and 4.

BY:CO-ASTAL: Squish, in a nice, careful way so no one gets mussed, together music and art and performance over two nights at the PDG Warehouse, invite people looking to soak in great images and ideas, and voila! You have By:Co-astal, an ongoing celebration of the visual, theatrical, everything-else-al arts. We're eager to spy the photo series by Queen Skittles, the high majesty of the most recent Pasadena Doo Dah Parade. Okay, so we're still nursing a smidge of jealousy about how pink-haired and big-dressy the Queen looked, but having spied some of the pics of her royal court got us over that. Those photos -- including one depicting "Sparkling-Star-That-Fell-In-The-Form-Of-A-Christmas-Tree Princess" -- enchant. More enchanting even: some of the funds raised from the two-night soiree go to local charities. April 3-4, 8PM. $20/$15 students. PDG Warehouse, 2485 Hunter Street, Los Angeles.
