Rotating pop-up shops are definitely a trend, but we're not sick of them yet, so we won't judge Brentwood's Feature Boutique for following Apartment Number 9 into the brave new world of temporary mini-stores. Starting next week, the entire spring collection of local designer Melissa Coker's line Wren will invade Feature, dominating the shop floor for the rest of the month. After that, the store plans to turn over the space to other designers, making pop-up shops a regular part of their retail plan. At the same time, they'll keep selling assorted items by designers like Alexander Wang, Karen Walker, and Geren Ford, so the old-school Feature won't disappear completely. The whole experiment begins April 2nd with a party co-sponsored by Lucky at which everything Wren will be 20% off.
