Comebacks: Two Years Later, Micky's Finally Reopens

West Hollywood: After almost two years of construction coming in the wake of a 2007 fire, landmark gay bar Micky's has, at long last, reemerged in West Hollywood. The two-story bar/club is now open seven days a week, and per the (always entertaining) press release, there's an entirely new look from award-winning designer Dean Larkin, including "glowing semi precious bar tops lit with a series of LED color changing light."

Just remember, everyone: "It’s Micky’s unabashed raciness that lures patrons in the doors, but it’s the bar’s openness that keeps people coming back." Oh, and don't forget that now there's food too. 8857 Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood; (310) 657-1176; website
