dineLA Restaurant Week: This winter 2010 version started on January 24th and has its final day on Friday, February 5th.

Including XIV: The sumptuously chateau-y Michael Mina restaurant is offering a $44 dineLA dinner menu, that includes three courses. Within those three courses you have three things to choose from. Tantalizing: Wild Mushroom Risotto, the XIV Caesar Salad, Parsnip Soup (complete with apple, horseradish, and maple foam), the Bitter Chocolate Cream and Pear Sorbet, and, that Popcorn Ice Cream.
Salty + sweet: Is there a better basic culinary friendship? We don't know of it.
