EaterTastings: LA Grande Orange, Kogi, Umami Burger

The latest dish from Eater LA, Curbed's hedonistic eating and drinking blog...

SANTA MONICA: Eater gets the scoop on the new La Grande Orange to open in Santa Monica in April. The offshoot of the Pasadena original will be designed by Marmol Radziner and interior designers Marshall & Agriam (who did the gorgeous Gjelina in Venice) and will feature free corkage.

CULVER CITY: It's official. Korean taco truck sensation Kogi will have also have a brick and mortar location. As of next week, Kogi will take over the kitchen at the Alibi Room in Culver City. And more bar owners (including Cedd Moses' 213) are looking to book the truck as it wanders through the city.

HANCOCK PARK: We all know that LA is the country's burger capital, and we can add one more contender next week. Adam Fleischman, the founder of Culver City's BottleRock, is opening a new "fine dining fast food" restaurant in the Hancock Park area called Umami Burger. Should be open by Monday, Feb 16th.
