Last night we met Jason Bernstein, one of the owners of the forthcoming Golden State, a new Cali-focused bar and restaurant on Fairfax, and he told us three very interesting things: 1) Former Rustic Canyon chef Samir Mohajer consulted on the menu which consists of homemade sausages, sandwiches and the like; and 2) because they're freinds with Tai Kim, Golden State will be using Scoops gelato, the only restaurant in Los Angeles to do so.
