Kogi's Taco Scion Spices Up Auto Show

Step aside Aston Martin and Rolls-Royce, the Kogimobile is here

You can have your impressive 0-60 times and 500-plus horsepower supercars. We prefer to hang out next to the most delicious looking car at the LA Auto Show.

It's the outrageously modified Scion Kogi BBQ xD mobile kitchen. That's the same Kogi of taco truck Twitter fame.

No need for rear seats. They've been removed for a refrigerator that slides out with the driver's side rear door. The passenger's side rear door contains a sink.

The tail light compartments pull out to reveal storage space for condiments and cooking utensils.

Then there's the hatch back. It houses the slide-out grill and a pop-up monitor.

It's easy to spot at the show. Just look for the screaming orange Kogimobile parked in the shadows of Scion's wall of big-screen monitors.

And it has an Alpine sound system. But you already knew that because you can hear it from whevever you happen to be right now.

The car was introduced at the 2009 SEMA show. Skip ahead to about 1:00 in the video below to watch the mobile kitchen in action at the Scion SEMA 2009 preview.
