LA's Finest Food Trucks Come Together

"Truckit Fest" will feature dozens of LA's food trucks.

Truckit Fest, which aims to be a monthly meeting of LA's finest food trucks, will have its inaugural gathering Sunday at Union Station.

About three-dozen food trucks of all kinds -- from Calbi (Asian-fusion tacos and burritos), Jose O'Malley's (American/Mexican cuisine), Crepes Bonaparte (crepes!) and, of course, Da Munch Box -- will be serving up their best. As if that weren't enough to keep you busy, local artisans will be selling crafts and live bands will provide entertainment.

Also making an appearance at the event is the Los Angeles Kings truck. Although not a food truck, they'll be giving away free Kings gear and other fun stuff.

Kids 12 and under get in free, and general admission is $5. However, you can purchase a VIP ticket for $45, which gets you early admission, a private lounge, table service, valet parking and a $10 food voucher.

Future Truckit Fests will take place at different locations in the area on the first Sunday of every month. For a full list of food trucks and other info, check out Truckit Fest's website.
