Meals on Wheels: The Gastrobus

Bistro meets gastropub (minus the beer part) at The Gastrobus roadside bistro.

Created by Antonio and Lana Medina, he a former catering chef and she a former teacher, the two noticed the gastropub trend and took that idea to the streets, literally. The yellow school bus-colored truck serves up reasonably priced seasonal farmers market-inspired pub fare that includes staples like sweet potato fries and a pulled pork, smoked bacon, and skirt steak sandwich. A chalkboard menu outside the truck offers up the daily specials and the truck can frequently be found at the Los Feliz farmers market on Sundays. Follow 'em on Twit. [LAist]
