Expect even cheap fast food to cost more soon. Wholesale food prices are skyrocketing---the National Restaurant Association estimates an 8.7 percent jump this year through August, on top of a 7.6 jump in 2007---so chains like McDonald's, Carl's Jr. and even Chipotle will be raising prices.
