More Tequila For Downtown: Provecho Opens Soon

Shifting opening dates are the name of the game for any Los Angeles restaurant, so it's no surprise that Provecho didn't debut in October as planned (nor the first week of November). The new date: November 17, which we think is firm but you never really know. In addition to the modern Mexican fare from chef/owner Gabe Morales, there will be lots of tequila and an adjacent lounge called Remedy for "classic American appetizers and small plates" and "signature libations." The windows have been covered for months, but expect things like glass countertoups, mahogany furniture, Italian chandeliers, seating around a raw bar. Not to be confused with Downtown's other Nuevo-Pan-Latin-Mexican restaurants: Rivera near L.A. Live and Casa at California Plaza, both of which will open in early December.
