Let's be honest. There are few stretches of SoCaldom that offer the excellent people-watching and historic-building-enjoying of a particular stretch of Colorado Boulevard through Old Town Pasadena.
We can all agree on this, yes? We're not saying Los Angeles doesn't have at least 28 other spots that qualify. Just that Old Town Pas has it down, and could probably give lessons at a community college on atmosphere and charm if called to do so.
But on Tuesday, Sept. 21, the area will be too busy to teach a course, for that is the night of Taste of Old Pasadena. A $25 ticket gets diners the chance to sample at eateries around the multi-block neighborhood. If you're thinking the eateries will include Bar Celona, Sushi Roku, and Dish, you'd be correct.
Time is 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., and funds raise help out Old Pas orgs. You can buy your entry online, or at the Pasadena Foothills Association of Realtors office (the office's Charitable Foundation is hosting the night).
