What were you doing the Wednesday before Thanksgiving?
Please say you were digging out the gravy boat from the back of the china cabinet, or placing tiny marshmallows atop yams. (Please do not say you were stressing about where to put your mouthy cousin at the family table.) Whatever you were up to, we're betting you were busy, and if you missed the Border Grill Truck appearance on "Oprah" on Wednesday, Nov. 24, all is forgiven. (Border Grill gals Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger also stopped by the show as well, of course.)
But, being a local, you likely are sweet on all things Border-Grill-ia, and probably a mite curious about what went down. Stress no longer (about your mouthy cousin or missing the show): Mses. Milliken and Feninger have posted the recipes online. Now you can make Yucatan Pork Tacos and the Poblano Quesadilla at home, and no gravy boat is required.
By the by, that last dish has a full half cup of grated cotija cheese. Which *every* dish known to humankind could probably benefit from.
