Saturday at 2PM on a roasty spring weekend only ever demands one thing, and that is a tall, cold, frosty-glassed beverage. Lemonade counts, so does water, but when Craft Beer Fest LA is on, at that very time of day, well, it feels like that particular question has been satisfactorily addressed.
Over two dozen brews from a goodly clutch of hands-on, Golden State brew masters are the tasty tonics of the foamy to-do, and a bevy of bands will take the stage and serenade all the sipping. Plus: food. Beer and food, two old friends, and this food is especially lovely: think stout ice cream and other creative bites that are of the nut- and cheese-families.
The money raised is going to help those nice people over at 826LA, and their efforts to spread the love of the word among young readers and writers.
