The Grill Thanks Its Employees during Thanksgiving Week

If you work at The Grill, bet you've got your holiday plans set.

We'll wager that if you're not scheduled to work on Thanksgiving Day, you're probably not planning on heading into the workplace for a few hours on the holiday.

But employees of The Grill on the Alley have a great reason to plan to be at the office during the week of Thanksgiving. The company behind the swanky restaurants -- there are three eateries in total, in Beverly Hills, Westlake Village, and Hollywood -- throws a giant holiday feast for all of their employees and their employees' families come the holiday week.

Is this the kind of story that is nice to hear this time of year? Definitely. And maybe one that will inspire a full-blown trend of thanking staff in a big, tasty way.

The big, tasty way at The Grills in 2010 will include the traditional turkey and accompanying side dishes, as well as an Oaxacan-style turkey mole and empanadas and tres leches.

It's a tradition that's been cooking since 1984, says the company. Every little gesture from business to staff is nice, whatever office or work situation it might occur in, but when that gesture involves mashed potatoes and tamales and pie, we should all take note and be inspired to be more generous and grateful.
