Two decades on West Beverly Blvd., Kings Road Cafe Continues to Delight Neighbors with a unique brew of coffee

    Nestled in between apartment complexes and small California bungalows, Kings Road Café is serving up a breakfast menu with a kick and strong coffee to boot.

    “I am a coffee roaster,” said Lawerence Casperson, owner of Kings Road Café. “Kings Road Cafe has its own unique way for roasting its own coffee, and that’s why we have customers coming back for the coffee.”

    The coffee is a blend of five different beans from five different countries and each cup is brewed fresh.

    But it's not the only reason customers come back, so is the breakfast.

    “Here, we make everything out from scratch,” Casperson said. “Everything made is fresh and for that day.”

    One of its most popular dishes is the Chili Porch Egg, which is serve with sprinkled romano cheese and crushed red-pepper flakes.

    The eggs benedict with chipotle sauce is a strong contender for most popular too.  The sauce has a strong kick that lets you enjoy the eggs in an a unique and unforgettable way.

    The crab cake Benedict, homemade granola and blueberry pancakes  are some of the other popular dishes at "the kitchen of the neighborhood."
