Will Your Fave Cafe Get the Shout-Out?

A bevy of serious -- and we mean, serious, as in, ably breaking down how much cilantro is in a dish, and whether the chiles are poblano or Anaheim -- food thinkers converge on Vroman's to talk shop, as in donut shops, pastry shops and all the other places they love to visit on an empty stomach. EAT: Los Angeles is, as you might imagine, an evening devoted to local dishes galore, and dishing on those dishes and the people who create them.

Amelia Saltsman (the author of a cookbook spotlighting the Santa Monica Farmers Market) and Pat Saperstein are just two of the LA-based foodies scheduled to be on the panel. While we admire all the panelists, we are big fans of Pat's helpful and perfectly conversational food blog, which she does in addition to being a senior editor at Variety. Pat'll have some juicy stuff to share for sure.

Over the course of the night, will you make a few new discoveries? A new noodle shop? The ideal place for pierogi? And will you share a few of your own secret spots? We think you definitely should. After all, sharing tips is often how an undiscovered eatery stays in business. Spill away!
