Call it one of the most charming spats of the last year's holiday season.
Nope, we're not talking about which child would get to talk to Santa first, nor are we referring to the age-old white lights vs. color bulbs on the tree (color, of course).
Rather, we speak of the heated decision, among your kids, regarding who got to sing the Anna parts and who'd sing the Hans parts in "Love Is in Open Door," the cute duet near the start of "Frozen."
Indeed, the film brims with catchy tunes known by children and adults and everyone, far and wide. "Let It Go"? How many times have you sung that, alone, in your car this month? Ten? Twenty?
Which means this: The Disney animated hit, which very much dominated screens, hearts, box office returns, and the Oscars, is back. And its fervant fans can warble again, together, loudly, with cheer, at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood when the "Frozen" Sing-A-Long returns for a two week-plus engagement.
Make that the super-mega-huge "Frozen" Sing-A-Long. Did you attend the first go-around earlier this year? It was busier than Elsa's packed-to-the-turrets coronation ball.
Call it a fun back-to-school treat (which is not-so-coded speak that the dates are Aug. 22 through Sept. 7). Call it a fine way to feel a blast of cold in what is traditionally SoCal's toastiest stretch of the year. And call it easy to follow, since lyrics'll be up on the screen.

But, please. Do you even need lyrics to "Do You Want to Build a Snowman"? No, you do not.

A few extras: A new-new-new Walt Disney Animation Studios short called "Feast" will screen before each showing. There's a "Breakfast with Elsa" option before the 10 a.m. screenings.
And will there be snow inside the El Capitan? Again, please. This is "Frozen." Snow'll be in the house, literally.
Or "magic" snow, rather. Nope, it isn't the stuff that Olaf is made out of, but it is a perfect complement to a chilly, cinematic, sing-a-long summertime treat.
So, all together now: Let it go, let it gooooooo (but not quite yet).
