LOS ANGELES: This is a shot of 833-853 N. Edinburgh, and according to various city documents, it's a planned 57-unit condominium. It's located off Fairfax and we're not sure who the architect is, but it's called Edinburgh Courtyard. Lots of wood to take in. [Curbed Staff]
LOS ANGELES: It's for good cause and it's called Canstruction LA. A contest to benefit the LA Foodbank, it featured local architects, engineers, and designers. And we're told W Hollywood Residences sponsored HKS Architects. Other firms who participated: CO Architects, Gensler, Gilsanz Murray Steficek, Morris Architects, Perkins + Will, SAA, William Hefner Architecture and Wolcott Interiors. According to the web site, the "Juror's Favorite" was CO Architects' "Surf & Turf" (judging was last weekend). The Canstruction LA is on display through November 1, 2008 at The Water Garden in Santa Monica. [Curbed InBox]
