CurbedWire: Los Angeles Archives Bazaar at USC

USC: An event this Saturday at USC's Davidson Conference Center will offer a look at old-timey Los Angeles. It's called "Archives Live: the 3rd-annual Los Angeles Archives Bazaar." More via the press release: "65 local historical collections and archives will share treasures from L.A. history and hidden stories of city neighborhoods. Food critic Jonathan Gold, historian William Estrada, Icy Smith, Jervey Tervalon, and other L.A. authors will talk history and sign books; filmmakers will screen Chicano Rock!, Chinatown Remembered, and other documentaries about Los Angeles; and there will be a variety of panel discussions, too." More info here, and that's an image off the web site for the event. [Curbed Inbox]For more stories from Curbed LA, go to la.curbed.com.
